• Balancing Act – Can You Have It All?

    For the last several years, there’s been a lot of talk about Work-Life Balance. There are lots of ways to define Work-Life Balance, but I like to boil it down to: All work and no play makes me crazy.

    Most of us already know finding that balance can be elusive. The demands of your job may include stressful situations, travel and long hours. But personal relationships require time and effort as well. And until someone adds another six hours to the day, making it all work will remain a challenge.

    Ideally, finding a good balance between your job and your personal life will help you be happier and more successful. Jim Bird, publisher of WorkLifeBalance.com, says the formulae involves focusing on both Achievement and Enjoyment.
