You are among many people who are feeling that way, apparently. As a matter of fact, a friend of mine quoted those very lyrics to me when I cried out about my discombobulation on Facebook.

There seems to be no reason of meaning in the things I spend doing my waking hours. I drive miles and miles. I sit in a cold, windowless room. I write what no one will read. I run in place. I listen to representations of sounds that don’t exist in nature.

What is going on?

My cousin, who is a professional astrologer, says it has something to do with a recent lunar eclipse. (Not the movie premier of Eclipse, though.)

As first suggestions, may I ask you if it would be possible to have trading goods and laws included in the random world generation, please ?

I will watch my rss to know when the beta copies will be available.

Yes, absolutely, I’ll be using hex maps. Its going to be a time consuming affair to get it all arranged properly, so I decided to come back to the display after I’d finished the rest of the basic functionality of the program.

Looks like this could be very useful.

One suggestion:
Please Use hex-maps and not square-maps for the subsectors. You only need to shift each other column down half a row. If You need a hex-map as a backdrop, then You can create one using the QuickHex generator.

I do intend to provide options for which specific Rules System you want to use for generation of systems and subsectors, as well as allowing various options.

And thanks Berka.. I’ve been using the LBB generator for some other screens as well.

Looks like a nice interface.

Just some things I would like to see…
- Vector space combat. (Mayday rules)
- Abstract space combat. (Something like in Masters of Orion but with book 5 rules)
- Animal encounters.
- Fractal Planet Map generator.
- System generator. (book 6)
- Starship budget and trade charts.
