heartListen up, men. Time is running out quickly. In less than a week, you’ll be judged on the quality of your Valentine’s day offering to your significant other. The criteria include the thoughtfulness of the gift, price, quality and desirability. If you’ve not been planning ahead, you may find yourself in serious trouble come Sunday.

And that’s why I’ve commissioned a completely non-scientific and potentially inaccurate survey of my female Facebook friends. According to the results, the top five things women would like for Valentine’s day gifts are:

    letter5) Chocolate

    4) Someone else to clean the house.

    3) A day at a spa, including a massage and a mani/pedi.

    2) A romantic trip for two. Even if it’s just for the weekend at a local bed and breakfast.

    1) A love letter.

Ladies, does that list match your own expectations? What’s missing? Jewelry? Flowers?

And guys, if you do settle for the Love Letter, please don’t write it on notebook paper. And be sure to spell her name correctly, okay?
